Gondhawa are back

Gondhawa are back.

The French oriental psych trio return with TÄKOMĀ, their most ambitious album yet, out January 30th, 2026 via Stolen Body Records and Le Cèpe Records.

It's been a journey since their debut Käampäla landed in 2021. Since then, they've torn through 50+ shows across Europe, delivered an incendiary KEXP session at Transmusicales, and established themselves as one of the most exciting live acts in the psych scene.

TÄKOMĀ pushes deeper into their singular vision - microtonal guitars, Mongolian sanxian, and crushing rhythms colliding somewhere between King Gizzard's experimental edge, Mdou Moctar's desert fury, and Goat's primal energy. Recorded at Studio Adjololo (Tinariwen, Omar Sosa, Tamikrest), mixed at La Cuve, and mastered at Black Box Studio by Peter Deimel.

First single drops December 12th.
